Cherry Blossom Viewing (Hanami)
Most Japanese like cherry blossoms very much. The trees bloom as weather gets warmer from late March through April.
Families, friends, company-coworkers or other type of groups go to popular spots where the cherry blossoms are in bloom. And we have a "cherry-blossom- viewing" party.
They spread mats on the ground under the blossoms. And enjoy having parties eating or drinking.
