1. Its a good way of keeping contact with lots of people from all warps of life that you have met. For example, past school or people that have moved away.
2. You are able to upload photographs and share your memories and fun with others.
3. There are games that you can play to keep you entertained.
4. You are able to talk to friends on weekends through "facebook chat" or ask questions about homework, or plans for another day etc.
5. Some colleges and schools have a facebook page which you can link up to so you are able to keep a regular feed of news and contact with them and other students.
6. Its less formal than a telephone call and easier for others to access to ask you a simple question.
7. You are able to keep your friends updated on some things that you have seen or done.. for example, "I found a really funny video on the internet the other day! I will post it to your facebook wall, it's a crack up"
