Pachinko is a mixture of slot machine and pinball. The player is quite passive while playing pachinko. He or she is only controlling the speed with which many small steel balls are thrown into the pachinko machine.

Most of the balls just fall down the machine and disappear, but a few find their way into special holes. This activates a kind of slot machine. Stream

The Honda Stream is a compact MPV manufactured by the Japanese automaker Honda since 2001. Japanese models have gasoline direct injection 1.7 L and 2.0 L engines with improved fuel efficiency. It was facelifted in January 2004.

Its exterior design is a mix of compact MPV and station wagon; and its height (1.55 m) makes it hard to classify it precisely. Handling characteristics are more like a smaller hatchback than any other comparable compact MPV.

A second generation 2007 model was officially presented on the 13th July 2006.

The first generation Honda Stream (Body codes: RN1/2/3/4/5) was a response to the sale success of the contemporaries like Mazda Premacy, which released earlier. It was largely based on the Civic, with the same flat chassis but added 100mm in length to accommodate the third row of seats. In advertising and promotional brochures Honda describes it as a sporty 7-seater.

The first generation Honda Stream was available with a 1.7l D17 engine and a 2.0l K20, equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 5-speed automatic transmission with sequential mode respectively. For some export markets a manual version was also offered.

According to Koi fish experts, there are at least thirteen different varieties and sub-varieties of Koi fish. Here are among the most common varieties:

• AsagiThis is a Koi fish type that bears pale blue color and has orange belly. It also has regular scales and net pattern on the back. Asagi means pale blue in Japanese.
• BekkoThe word Bekko means tortoise shell in Japanese and this Koi fish type was so named because of its markings. Usually, you’ll see Bekko in white, yellow or red colors and have black markings.
• Hakarimono (Ogon)
  This is a Koi fish type which bears no markings and is single-colored metallic.
• Hariwake
  This is a metallic Koi fish type with two colors and have Doitsu scales pattern.
• KarasugoiThis is a black Koi fish type that has orange or white bellies.
• Kohaku
  This is the most popular type of Koi fish. This is basically a white Koi with spots and red markings.
• KoromoKoromo means, “robed” in Japanese. This fish was so named because aside from its red markings on its white body, it is also “robed” with scales outline bearing different colors.
• MatsubaThis type of Koi fish has scales patterned as pine cone; this is a single-colored fish that has darker color-inlay in its scales.
• SankeThis was famous from 1912-1926. A white Koi fish with black and red markings, this fish has spots but don’t have black spots or markings on head.
• ShowaThis is the Koi fish type produced since 1926 until today. It has white and red markings on its black body color.
• ShusuiThis is a pale blue-colored fish and has orange belly. It has a large line of scales with dark blue color on its back.
• Tancho
  The tancho is a Koi fish type with red spots on the head. The spots may be triangle or circular in shape.
• UtsuriThis is basically the Koi fish type bred from the Showa. This is a fish with black stripes and has yellow, red or white markings.

Actroid is a make of android (humanoid robot) and with strong visual human-likeness developed by Osaka University and manufactured by Kokoro Company Ltd. (the animatronics division of Sanrio). It was first unveiled at the 2003 International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. Several different versions of the product have been produced since then. In most cases, the robot's appearance has been modeled after an average young woman of Japanese descent.

Actroid-F was developed by Kokoro Co. Ltd and ATR. And according to its developers this android is intended to give patients a heightened sense of security. The Actroid-F is a realistic and pretty android that has the ability to replicate its operator’s facial expression as well as its body movements. So if you can’t actually speak with your family over a webcam, this type of creepy robot could replace you. The Actroid-F can speak in your place using webcams and imitate your facial expression and body movements as well.

The Actroid-F has been also recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “first true android” ever made. Apparently, this android is being positioned as an observer in a hospital with the purpose of gauging some patient’s reactions. According to its developer, it took them quite some time before they have been able to make this android act more naturally and independently. The Actroid-F can blink and shift its eyes and neck and even breathe, but its legs cannot actually work so it cannot move from its chair.

Sashimi

Sashimi is thinly sliced, raw seafood. Many different kinds of fresh fish and seafood are served raw in the Japanese cuisine. Sashimi, while similar to sushi, is distinct for its absence of vinigered rice. When slices of fish are served on top of a small ball of rice, it is called nigiri zushi.

Sashimi is usually beautifully arranged and served on top of shredded daikon and shiso leaves. The sashimi pieces are dipped into a dish of soya sauce before being eaten. The daikon and shiso can also be dipped in soya sauce and eaten; both have a fresh, minty taste. Depending on the kind of sashimi,wasabi or ground ginger may accompany the dish and be added to the sashimi as a condiment.
