WHY DO JAPANESE PEOPLE SLURP?

 You would feel uncomfortable if you hear people slurping when they are eating. But in Japan, this is not different. Some Japanese people slurp on purpose when they are noodles. And other people don't care about it. WHY??   It is said slurping indicates the food is delicious. And the slurping also serves to cool down the hot noodles for eating. So, slurping is not a bad things for most people. But of course, some people don't like slurping sound. Slurping is becoming Japanese culture in a good way and bad way.
 You would think Japanese people are rude if you see people slurping. But it is normal in Japan. So, keep that in mind if you come to Japan.
