cNational Flag of Japan

Japanese Flag Description:
The flag of Japan consists of a white background with a red circle in the middle.

Japanese Flag Meaning:
The circle in the middle of the flag represents the sun. Japan's name translates to "The land of the rising sun." The white represents honesty and purity and the red disc is a sun symbol meaning brightness, sincerity and warmth.

Japanese Flag History:
The current Japanese flag was adopted on August 13, 1999. The symbol in the flag is the state emblem and has been the symbol of Japan for centuries. The Japanese flag initially became the country's national flag in 1868. The Japanese flag was modified slightly by new legislation in 1999. Legend says its origins lie in the days of Mongol invasions of Japan in the 13th century, when a Buddhist priest offered the sun disc flag to the Emperor of Japan, who was considered a descendant of the sun goddess Amaterasu.
Interesting Japanese Flag Facts:
The national flag of Japan is known as the 'Nisshohki' or 'Hinomaru' which means 'sun disc' in Japanese.
The sun disc symbol is known to have been displayed on folding fans used by samurai in the 12th century.

aKei Convertible
'Kei' (meaning 'light automobile) is the generic name given to a group of curious little cars from Japan, which even today, long after many have ceased production, have proved to be the inspiration behind a whole new generation of cheeky drop-tops.

Originally designed to exploit Japanese tax and insurance regulations, these pint-sized machines are perfect for urban driving. Their micro dimensions mean you should be able to nip through traffic and squeeze into small parking spaces with ease.

Ripe yuko take on a vivid yellow color
The trees were originally
planted in residential yards

The fruit can be eaten rind and
all with no fear about pesticides.
an astringent type of citrus fruit recently confirmed to be native to Japan. Aromatic and high in citric acid, the yuko has been used to flavor food. At one time this fruit was in danger of dying out completely, but a successful movement to revive the species has provided a blueprint for other such efforts.

Bonsai

'Bonsai' is a Japanese pronunciation of the earlier Chinese term penzai (盆栽). A 'bon' is a tray-like pot typically used in bonsai culture. The word bonsai is often used in English as an umbrella term for all miniature trees in containers or pots.

The purposes of bonsai are primarily contemplation (for the viewer) and the pleasant exercise of effort and ingenuity (for the grower). By contrast with other plant cultivation practices, bonsai is not intended for production of food, for medicine, or for creating yard-size or park-size gardens or landscapes. Instead, bonsai practice focuses on long-term cultivation and shaping of one or more small trees growing in a container.

Here at Prosper, we don`t supply bonsai but we care for our customer the bonsai-way. Long-term cultivation is our ideal, that is why we only supply good cars for a good long-term business relationship.

COCKTAIL FOR TODAY
The Sake Mojito

The mojito, sake, known as Japanese rice beer (some consider it wine), is becoming a widely demanded staple drink by those wanting a quick getaway without leaving their pools. Sake, which is light, highly alcoholic, and brewed with warm spices, can be savored with typical summer dishes, such as sushi or salad. Therefore, as a way to enjoy the tropics with Japanese flair, we’re combining two cocktail trends in one with a sake mojito. Made in Manhattan’s Benihana, the exotic sake mojito takes it up a notch with sweet rum and a blend of freshly squeezed citrus juices. For a cocktail that’s complex in taste, not in preparation, make the sake mojito your ultimate summer companion.

Ingredients
2 oz Rum
½ oz Sake
1 oz Mint syrup
2 oz Sour mix
4-6 Lime wedges
6-8 Fresh mint leaves
Club Soda

Directions
Start by squeezing lime wedges into a cool, tall mixing glass. Then, add fresh mint leaves. Gently muddle lime and mint leaves to extract juice and flavor. Add rum, sake, sour mix, and mint syrup. Afterwards, add ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds with a cocktail shaker. Top with a splash of club soda. Finally, garnish drink with a lime wedge and a mint spring.

HONDA ACCORD

The Honda Accord is series of midrange automobile manufactured by Honda since 1976 and sold in most automotive markets throughout the world. The Accord became the first Japanese car to be produced in the US in 1982, when production commenced in Marysville, Ohio at Honda's Marysville Auto Plant. It is also produced in Guangzhou, China since the 1999 inception of the Guangzhou Honda Joint Venture. The Accord has achieved considerable success, especially in the United States, where it was the best-selling Japanese car for 20 years (1982-97), topping its class in sales in 1991 and 2001, with around ten million sold there in total. Numerous test, past and present count the Accord as one of the world's most reliable vehicles.

Over the years, Honda has offered several different body styles and versions of the Accord, and often vehicles marketed under the Accord nameplate concurrently in different regions differ quite substantially. It debuted in 1976 as a compact hatchback, though this style was dropped in the 1980s, as the lineup was expanded to include a sedan, coupe, and wagon. By the Accord's sixth generation in the 1990s, it evolved into a intermediate vehicle, with one basic platform but with different bodies and proportions increase its competitiveness against its rivals in different international markets. For the current generation of Accord released for the North American market in 2008, Honda again has chosen to move the model further upscale and increase in its size. This pushed the Accord sedan from the upper limit of what the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines as a mid-size car to just above the lower limit of a full-size car, with the coupe still rated as a mid-size car.
