JAPANESE WASABI

-Japanese Horseradish-

If you are wondering what Wasabi is , its a paste with mustard like texture, and tastes much much stronger than mustard, if you are trying it for the first time, just try a little bit to make sure you are ok with the spice.

Wasabi is an essential condiment in Japanese cuisine. It's the light green paste that accompanies sushi, seafood, noodles, and more. Typically, people dip sashimi slices in a mixture of wasabi and soy sauce.
Ideally, fresh wasabi rhizomes are finely grated on grater. But the availability of fresh wasabi rhizomes is usually low, and 100 % real, fresh wasabi is rarely used. Wasabi powder, which is used by mixing with water, or wasabi paste in plastic tube, is substituted for fresh wasabi.
